Malaysia Floods Force 18,000+ Evacuations as Monsoon Hits Hard

Stay safe, fam! As the northeast monsoon continues to pour down, over 18,000 Malaysians have been displaced this week across 10 states, authorities say. 🌧️

Kelantan is the hardest hit, with more than 9,700 evacuees packed into 40 relief centres as of 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Selangor and Perak follow with 2,718 and 2,881 people respectively, while the rest are scattered across the peninsula.
