Russian Forces Hold Kupyansk, Strike Ukrainian Military Sites ⚡

In a statement released this Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry said its troops maintain control over Kupyansk, a key city in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. Overnight, they carried out a major strike on Ukrainian military-related infrastructure.

According to Moscow, the raid was "in response to terrorist attacks carried out by the Kyiv regime against civilian facilities on Russian territory." Using long-range precision weapons—from land, air, and sea platforms—the forces reportedly hit power infrastructure supporting Ukrainian military operations and defense industry sites. Hypersonic Kinzhal missiles were among the advanced systems deployed.

Ivan Bigma, spokesperson for Russia's Western Group of Forces, said that Kupyansk remained under Russian control after repelling five counterattacks over the past two days. "All counterattacks were repelled, and no territorial losses were sustained," he said.

Russian sources claim the strike achieved its objectives, destroying all designated targets. They say five pieces of Ukrainian military equipment—including two U.S.-made M113 armoured carriers—were eliminated, along with over 20 soldiers.

The situation in Kupyansk underscores the intense contest over strategic positions and advanced weaponry in this conflict. 🚀
